4169-B (Black pre-made Pick Guard)

Considering the expense of building a guard assembly with pups and switches, this is a great deal financially. It improved my junker by around 80%. I added 3- 4955 Knob position indicators to make it look really sharp. I had to drill couple extra holes in the guitar body. No big deal. Truly have to concentrate to hear any difference in the Bridge Tone from 0-10. Neck tone difference from 0-10 can be heard. You can always change pots or wiring, but for the cost, it's still a good deal.

Much better sound than I thought I would get for this price. I purchased three of them and they all sound great.

for this price, can't said to bad thinks... Just that pickgard is far from finish of originals, and than screw hole where not alls align to guitar's body holes... for the electronic stuff, nothing wrong ! So if you buy it for a fine strat, take an aditional pickgard to replace this one ;-)

Outstanding.

I didn't believe the sound this pickups deliver based on the price. Even with all the good reviews.

This is an excellent product and my client is very satisfied and happy with it (he's a pro)

I purchased the pre-wired pickguard to save me time, (and money) for the re-build I'm doing for my old strat. I could not be happier, goods came in about a week, now its loaded, and looks great. I will definitely be coming back to Stew-Mac for any other projects I've got.

It's all there!

I had reservations about buying this, but not now. This not only looks good, but sounds excellent, requiring zero adjustment,it went straight in. I'm really impressed.

I have no idea where the pick-ups come from. But for this price I guess does it really matter? They make strat noises and work fine in my Squier until I decide whether or not to invest in "real" pups.

Otherwise very good thing here. I was given an older Korean Strat where the switch and pots and wires were all shot, and this thing saved me a lot of work. I had to redrill one or two screw holes, but overall it was a breeze. Nice.
