First Timer

Used to rewire an Epiphone EB0 bass. As this was my first time using this product, I probably could have used about 2 inches longer... will be buying for future projects.

It's been the right stuff for years

I'll probably have to break down and just buy a spool of this wire......this month a 2014 120th Anniversary SG, a 1965 ES 345, a 1994 Les Paul Standard and a 1963 Guild S50 Jet Star. This wire is the major reason Gibson and Guild guitars from the 60s were so quiet, even with P90 type pickups. Plus you have the advantage of having the hot wire and the ground on one lead, making for a much neater looking job.

Great wire

I bought this wire for use in re-wiring a 1960's 335. Easy to work with. Takes solder well and I think the guitar sounds better. I should have bought a entire roll.

The only way to wire

Excellent wire, well tinned, solders on beautifully. Use some tape or shrink wrap where needed to avoid shorts & you will be happy, too! Very much like what you find in high end Gibsons.

Great wire for rewiring a guitar

I bought this wire for one guitar project and ended up using it on two. Super easy to work with and much heavier gauge that the original. Guitars really sound great.

Great wire but order length issues

By
(Customer's Reviews)

This is the best wire. I just wish it was sold in lengths other than either 16" or 50 feet! We need something in between. Ordering multiple 16" pieces creates a bit of waste on projects, and 50 feet is a bit much. Best solution would be to sell it by the foot, so I could buy a whole length (say, 5, 10, or 20 feet) that isn't chopped into 16" pieces.

I use it for my restoration project and for repairs of my guitars. Easy to use. I should have taken a bobbin =)
