I have purcahsea a number of these, and have found them to be excellent switches.

Switch Position

Ok quality, but switch will fall into center position way to easily. I'd try another switch in the future.

Great quality switch, and affordable.

I've used many of these switches over the years as replacements, as well as in new builds. I can't say I've ever had any issues with them, they work great every single time. Their quality has always been far superior to anything they've ever replaced. Yeah, maybe you'll find a switch somewhere else for a couple bucks cheaper, but it's never worth it, especially when it comes to a guitar's electronics!!!!

Where's the gold tips?

By

Verified Buyer

Seems like a good and solid switch, haven't actually tried it as I am waiting for some pickups to come. BUT there should be an option for gold tips. I can get gold tips to match my Gretsch-project in loads of webstores, but how do I know they will fit?

A little sensitive as far as the switch stem is concerned. Easy to install.

GARBAGE! Not worthy of putting your name on. Please try to source a functional straight switch Til then I'll have to look elsewhere

In the form in which it finds itself, this part is not suitable for the job. From a small touch of the switch gets in the middle position. I had to bend plates. Now all is well.

Almost a great switch, still a good buy regardless...

If you've read the other reviews you'd notice most complaints are regarding the switch mechanism returns to the middle position too easy and doesn't hold well. After installation I noticed the same but with some rigorous shaking of my guitar in the neck or bridge position it did not return to center. It may not be a stiff switch but it wont return to center from slapping the strings or shaking the guitar.

The tip went on crooked however the threads were correct on the actual switch. The plastic tip just wasn't an ideal fit but if you crank it as tight as possible (with fingers!) the tip straightens out and it sits well. There may be better switches out there but this one works just fine.
