A special replacement footswitch for pedals and effects boxes. Modify your effects for true bypass and even wire a status indicator LED.

For pedals and effects!
Ever notice how a wah-wah and other vintage-style effects color your sound and mess with the tone of your other pedals, even when turned off? That's because many guitar effects aren't wired for a true bypass. This will muddy your tone, and cause other effects in the signal chain to lose volume.

Use this special triple-pole double-throw 9-lug footswitch to rewire vintage pedals or effects boxes. It allows unbuffered bypassing of the effect circuit without coloring the tone of the instrument or other components in the signal chain. The third pole can be wired to control an LED status light or other custom function. This is useful for stage performers, as it leaves no question if the "box" is on or off.

At least 1" (25.4mm) depth and a 1/2"-diameter (12.70mm) mounting hole are required. The threaded portion is 7/16" (11.11mm) tall.

Hex nuts, spring washer, flat washer and wiring instructions are included.

nice way to make an old wah true bypass. I installed this easy switch when I already had the pedal taken apart to replace the pot. Too bad SM doesn't stock the replacement pot as well. +/- on adding an LED if you don't care about battery life.

I got this 3 pole switch to add an LED on/off indicator to a wah pedal. It works well and is well made and sturdy. I did find it a bit stiff but it may be Im just used to the old one that has been worn in. All in all, pretty nice.

If you need a 3PDT switch, you can't find much better quality than these. In fact, these may be the best you can find. Heavier construction than the typical blue Chinese and Korean 3PDT switches and a denser plastic for the body. They all fail eventually, but this one will last a long, long time.

A solid, well built switch. Far better than the Taiwanese knockoffs. A little steep at $12.95 per, but buy three for $9.95 and you have a great value. Can be wired several ways. eg., LED with transistor. Recommended

If you have stomp boxes that just can't be replaced you need these switches in each one, you can have your cake and eat it too.

After years of using the old Carlington switches on my MXR and DOD effects pedals, this came as a breath of fresh air. Why weren't these invented in the 60's?

This switch is built well. I was able to re-wire my Memory Man so that the indicator light would only come on with the effect engaged. It's worked like a charm. And of course, the customer service was excellent.
