Switchcraft Output Jack

About This Item

The industry standard for output jacks, and we've got them for mono and stereo applications.

These Switchcraft™ jacks accept standard 1/4" plugs. A mono jack is suitable for most guitars; a stereo jack can be used for stereo wiring, or to enable onboard active electronics when a 1/4" mono plug is inserted.

Choose the long thread jack for guitars and basses that have a thick top or control plate. The extra threads give the nut a bit more to bite on. Great for older Gibsons like the SG and EB bass.

  • Required mounting hole diameter: 3/8" (9.53mm)
  • Thread: 3/8 x 32
  • Thread height: 1/4" (6.35mm)
  • Long thread height: 3/8" (9.53mm)

Mounting nut and flat washer included.

Complete guitar rebuild

By

Verified Buyer

I have never attempted to perform any type of electronic work on an electric guitar before but consider myself to be fairly mechanical so decided to do a complete replacement of all the electronics of my guitar. I found Stewmac to be a great resource for both the parts that I needed and the technical resources on how to install them. Job went just as I planed and my guitar sounds great. Can’t believe I did it. Thank you Stewmac.

Switchcraft Jacks -Built to last!

By

Verified Buyer

I used to get the cheap, short jacks from the "Jack Shack" –But at last I can now get Switchcraft from StewMac without a hassle and by mail. These have nicely polished, clean, solderable lugs. I always like to buy extra washers to get the right spacing. I'm starting to use heatshrink tubing for grouping and neatness.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do

Replaced the cheesy output jack on my SX jazz bass. Original was flimsy garbage and the jack would not hold the cord securely. Installed this in five minutes and it is now rock solid.
