I really like the feel of these jacks, and they are robust, but the chrome on the strap button just isnt shiny. I have to find a replacement button guitar I am now making.

Fishman Switchjack Endpin Jack

This part was a little hard to find as I new it was a switchcraft jack but it was not listed on the switchcraft site . I replaced this on my Martian guitar and it was an exact replacement . Instructions were good , part is made of High quality . MAKE SURE YOU TIE A PIECE OF COOKING STRING TO THE OLD ONE SO YOU CAN GET IT BACK IN THE GUITAR .

Switchcraft are the industry standard!

There isn't much to say other than these are of a consistently high quality. I use them wherever a barrel style input jack is called for, and Switchcraft is the ONLY brand I use on my builds.

Does what is says

Not the easiest thing in the world to install, I found that an old high e string through the holes at the end was the bests way to get it set correctly.

Wiring is easy and works well as a strap button.

Response from StewMac

We certainly appreciate your feedback. We do have a tool that would help in a situation like this: The Jack Installation Tool #0107. This works great for most jack installations. Give us a call if you have any questions about the products you have received from us 1-800-848-2273.

Endpin Jack for Big Red with a DeArmond pickup

By

Quick shipping. The endpin jack was just as advertised. It took a few minutes to get my Lloyd Smith handmade guitar up and running with a vintage DeArmond soundhole pickup. Thank you!

Excelent for adding pasive mag pup to stock piezo system and stereo cable

By

Verified Buyer

I used this to add a mag pickup to my guitar to run in tandem through a Y-stereo cable to seperate channels of a mixer. I devised a new way of mounting a fender noiseless strat mag pup (see pic) and this is wired passively to the sleave, ground and the power to the switch and the piezo to the 'tip'. It can run with a standard lead all in for piezo, or half out for a passive mag sound if necessary, or two two channels with a specially made stereo cable split to two mono jacks at the other end and works perfectly. The quality is extremely good and fitted perfectly in place of the existing jack on my Seagull without modifying the instrument other than the wiring. It is a big part of my set up, the mag pup going through some 'effects' and each going to separate channels of a mixer, this jack was essential to make this happen...
