Separation Anxiety

(Customer's Reviews)

I, too, had the same problems as mentioned in other reviews - that of the blue backing not separating properly. I read about this issues before using, and yet I was still unable to combat it with several different attempts. I used the material after receiving it four days earlier, so it wasn't because it was sitting around too long. Because of this issue, my pickguard has some "bald" patches with no glue on the pickguard side of the adhesive. It doesn't have too much of a negative affect on the overall task, but I agree with the other reviewer - I expect better from 3M.

Not a good product.

(Customer's Reviews)

I ordered 5 sheets of this adhesive and one of them sort of worked. The adhesive layer stuck to the blue backing or stuck partial the the paper backing and partially to the blue backing. Not sure why that happened. I expect more from a 3m product.

Excellent product !

(Customer's Reviews)

This 3M product works perfectly! After you remove the blue sheet and cut around your pickguard, don't try (like I did) to get between the 3m backing and the adhesive..just remove the backing,as the adhesive film is micro thin and already on your pickguard! Great product !
