Titebond Wood Glue

About This Item

The luthier's favorite aliphatic resin glue, for joints that are stronger than the wood.

Water soluble, it cures overnight, sands easily, and resists thermoplastic "creep" better than ordinary white glues.

Shelf life is 12-24 months if stored in a cool, dry location. If the glue becomes thick and stringy in the bottle, this signifies that the glue is no longer usable.

16-ounce bottle.

Using three different glues: where and why?

Titebond or hide glue? Hot glue or bottled? Dan Erlewine uses three glues for this repair, and each has different properties. He explains why one glue can't cover all the bases. And he's created some pretty interesting cauls for clamping this job together while it dries!

Quick see up and drying time

(Customer's Reviews)

I have used this on all my guitar projects and on other projects too, works great. Only drawback is if you use to much and it gets on place were you don't want it use water to clean up extra bc you can't stain or paint over the spots you spilled it on without leaving streaks were you just wiped it off without using a wet cloth although it could be used as a sealer I guess

Great glue. Best for all instrument repairs and building.
