Excellent for repair work! Colored glues are ideal for touching up gaps and repairing bindings, nuts, inlay and more.

StewMac's super glues are formulated specifically for instrument repair. All the tinted glues are Medium viscosity, best for filling small imperfect joint gaps. They'll speed your work by hours. Our tinted super glues cure in 10-25 seconds.

White super glue matches white nuts and new plastic binding. Also makes a great base for tinting with other colors. 0.5 oz.

Black blends well with ebony repairs, convenient for working on fretboards and bridges. Fill around inlay on a black peghead, too! 1 oz.

Amber was developed with aged lacquer in mind. Tech advisor Erick Coleman uses amber glue on the ends of nuts to simulate an aged, lacquered-in appearance. 1 oz.

Bonus: we include 3 Whip Tip nozzle extenders for precision gluing.

Small bottles minimize shelf life problems. To maximize shelf life, store super glues in a cool dry place.

Warning! Super glues bond skin and eyes instantly. Use in a well ventilated area. Keep out of the reach of children.

Great stuff when it's fresh

I love this opaque colored C.A. product. Really handy for many repairs and filling purposes. Great with inlay and ebony. The problem I've had is a short shelf life, or perhaps I got a bad batch (twice). Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. I've thrown out new bottles that were too thick or hardened up. Stewmac has been good to take care of me on this. My advice is to buy it only when you're going to use it.

I use the Stew Mac 20b glue for all my inlaying in ebony. It works great! Marvin Walker

Perfect for Inlay

I use the black one for inlays on ebony and the results are superb. On occasion if the gap is too large you may have to drop fill, but once sanded you cannot tell at all.

Super Glue

We use the opaque black and also have been using the thin as well. It is hands down a better product than anything we have used. Works great on bindings, pick guards, and have used on both lacquer and poly finishes and fretting repairs on fingerboards. The whips are also a great idea. Thanks for another great product! Black Super Glue???

Who would've thunk it? This stuff comes in very handy for drop fills in black finishes, and has already been stolen by our band instrument techs for plastic clarinet repairs and our electronics gurus for keyboard cases! I have to get another bottle!

Opaque Super Glue

Used for many things in the shop. I've always got a bottle of the black on hand to detail fretboards. Keep this product in a plastic zip lock with a dessicant packet and it will last longer. Can't be beat for speed and effectiveness when used with the accelerator. Sands well too.

Opaque super glue is used in the shop for a number of applications. When used in conjunction with the accelerator, it can't be beat for saving time and getting the job done, got to have it.

The black is the only one I've used. It seems to have worked just fine.
