StewMac Super Glue

About This Item

Speed your work by hours! Our super glues are first choice in guitar shops, thanks to fast, incredible bonding strength for repair work and instrument making.

10 Thin penetrates close-fitting wood joints and fingerboard cracks. Water-thin, it's great for fast minor drop-fill repairs on guitar finishes, too. Cures in 3-5 seconds, for a strong moisture-resistant joint.

20 Medium is our general-purpose super glue. A bit thicker, best for small imperfect joint gaps. Cures in 10-25 seconds.

30 Thick has epoxy-like gap-filling consistency. Cures in 30-50 seconds to allow joint repositioning.

Be ready for any repair situation that demands a fast permanent bond. Spend less time setting up clamps and waiting for other glues to dry!

  • Jigs
  • Fretting
  • Binding
  • Inlays
  • Finish touch-ups
  • Nut slot repairs

Bonus: we include 3 Whip Tip nozzle extenders for precision gluing.

Each 1-ounce bottle is the practical size to minimize shelf life problems. To maximize shelf life, store super glues in a cool dry place.

Warning! Super glues bond skin and eyes instantly. Use in a well ventilated area. Keep out of the reach of children.

#10 worked great for my problem

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I had some inlays that were coming out of my fret board, thin mother-of-pearl blocks. I am not a luthier by any means but I can do setups and minor repairs. This stuff is so thin I was able to just drop a little on and hold the inlays down for a few seconds and the problem was solved, great stuff! Perfect for this kind of repair! Thanks, StewMac!

Excellent for Pickguard Repair

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I used #30 in layers to rebuild holes in a Fender pickguard. After some curing time the glue was drillable for new holes. The pipettes were the perfect tool for putting glue exactly where I needed it. I would buy this again no question.

Glued Up

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I was pleasantly surprised when I got the glue shipped to me. The whip tips were included! Admittedly, I did not read the product description when I ordered them.

My super glued fret job went very smooth and turned out great. Probably the best value glue package out there.

Super glue

By

In piano work, there are numerous applications for CA glue and the StewMac stuff is superlative. The pipettes allow the applications for tuning pins to be treated and tightened, and now, finally, the needle caps have done away with the large caps getting stuck. Always fresh.

great for refretting jobs

anytime you refret an ebony fingerboard, you're gonna get chips. save all those chips, grind them down into dust, and use them to fill in the gouges with this glue. sand it down, and it's good as new.

A must have

No repair shop can be without this great little applicator in all three weights. We use it for poly finish touch ups, nitro dent fills before the lacquer goes on, inlay repairs saddle shimming, nut slot fills, and hundreds of other little jobs.

Just don't stick your fingers together :-)

New red tops, weak needle

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I always like the product. My 4stringbanjos page always shows my StewMac products being used on a daily basis.
The tops were a good idee for those not using whiptips but I found the needle was easily pushed to the side after a little hard residue was on the tip so what is the "point", save our money and spend it on things more wise.It is redundant as a top, the main one is just fine.
