Details

Makes bonding even faster! StewMac Accelerator speeds the bonding time of cyanoacrylate super glues, with initial joint strength in seconds.

Spray immediately before or after gluing. Great for hard-to-glue materials. 6-ounce aerosol eliminates leakage and evaporation.

TIPS: When using Accelerator before applying super glue to the joint, let the Accelerator evaporate first. Some plastics and non-wood materials may be adversely affected, so test first. For jobs that require only a small amount of accelerator, spray into one of our mixing cups and apply with a pipette. For pinpoint accuracy, we recommend using our drop-fill toothpicks. Accelerator is not recommended for use with our Brush-on Super Glue.

Warning! Vapors may be harmful. Avoid inhaling. Use adequate ventilation. Keep out of the reach of children.

Best on the market

By New Era Guitars from Chesterton, IN

I have found this is the best accelerator on the market. It will not melt the finish on your guitars like the others. If you miss the pump, and prefer the pipette, get a small jar to store it in. That works perfectly!

Prefer the pump spray

After several cans, I have decided I miss the control of the pump and the ability to open a bottle and use a pipette to drop it exactly where I want.

Just not the same...

I've used the StewMac accelerator in the spray pump version for several years. It was nice to be able to use the tube to add the accelerator to select spots and still have the option of using the spray if needed. With this new version, I have to try and spray into a cup and use a q-tip or toothpick to spot treat. Pretty sure it's not the safest thing to be spraying that much due to the amount of fumes produced in aerosol form. Please bring back the spray pump version.

Wasteful

I have grown accustomed to using the tip of the spray bottle tube for spot applications. Having access to the accelerator in liquid form is a must. I have no interest in spraying a coat of aerosol over an entire area, when I often only need to affect 1mm squared.

Great when you need it...

I don't reach for the accelerator every day, but it's sure nice to have when it's called for! Previously sold in a plastic "pump" bottle, the product would sit on the shelf and evaporate to nothing on it's own... it seemed to never be there when it was needed. But, with the aerosol can, that problem's now been solved and the product is to be commended!

New Stewmac Accelerator

What a great improvement of the new StewMac Accelerator aerosol over the pump. The old product seemed to evaporate making it expensive to replace all the time.

StewMac Accelerator

StewMac nailed this one. This aerosol accelerator is what I've been waiting for. I believe that this will last longer than their older product "the pump" because of the evaporation factor and mess factor, which in turn will save money. Way to go StewMac.
