StewMac Bind-ALL Guitar Binding Glue

About This Item

Fast-setting glue for instrument bindings
For gluing plastic bindings to any tonewood. Bind-ALL is the first choice of major guitar manufacturers. Now available in a convenient tube for small shops.

Holds bindings in place while you work
Bind-ALL's high tackiness helps you position long strips of plastic binding. Bindings stay in place instead of slipping, giving you time to apply clamping bands or tape.

Use Bind-ALL for gluing all these bindings and trims:
  • ABS plastic
  • Celluloid nitrate
  • Butyrate
  • Vinyl

Permanent bond to all tonewoods
Creates a high-strength bond to all tonewoods, even oily hardwoods like rosewood and cocobolo. Sets in just two minutes; fully cures in 12 hours.

Good for binding repairs, too: keep a tube on hand to fix loose or missing bindings.

Bind-ALL is the same glue used by major manufacturers. StewMac is the only place you can get it in a handy dandy squeezable tube (it’s usually sold in glass jars or cans to be brushed on, which gets messy real fast).

WARNING! Contains solvents that will damage nitrocellulose lacquer and other finishes. Use with care around finished instruments.

Store at room temperature.

2.4 fl. oz. (71ml) tube.

I have never used any glue for bindings except Duco Cement.Bind-All Glue is what I will be using from now on.

Works great, dries fast, cleans up easy, scraps away. Stewmac always makes great recommendations.

Easy to work with!

Goes on white but dries clear. Working time says 2 mins but I think it's a bit longer which was helpful on my wood bodied resonator project.

Works even better than I expected.

I bought this glue for a project I'm planning to do involving binding (which I've never done before). In the meantime, I tried this glue on some unrelated minor repairs. I was really impressed with it. The tackiness helped me align the parts for a perfect fit. It set up fast and held strong. It actually worked better than I anticipated.

Works very well

Flows easier than some others, so it took some getting used to the thinner consistency. It tacks up fairly quickly and holds well. I will be buying this regularly.

Best ABS binding adhesive available

We have tried every product, including some hi-tech 3M epoxy adhesive. This product works very well, but if adjacent surfaces are finished, you have to mask right up the binding rebate. You can wipe all you want, but the tape used to hold down the binding will cause squeeze out under the tape which cannot be wiped off. Will eat lacquer if not wiped off thoroughly in seconds.. Don't know about varnish. This is now all I use.

Have used this on a number of guitars and wouldn't even think of using wood glue or super glue for binding adhesive.

Too runny, hard to control application, needed to put in a container and use a brush
