I ordered an unslotted ebony fingerboard and had it shipped to switzerland. when it got here, I received it, but only after a few months did I have time to take a good look at it. It turned out that it was strongly bent and almost unusable. I wrote to StewMac and told them all about it and they immediately sent me a replacement, free of charge, free of shipping and free of boarder taxes, and it got here withing a few days. They had selected a straight grained piece from their stock and it looks great. Thank you.

Nice fret board blanks!

By
(Customer's Reviews)

These blanks are nice! They are excellent grain, good color, straight and some of the best I've used in my 28 years of building guitars. The thickness is just right for working them on down to their final radius and thickness. No extra work here! The ebony and rosewood are top notch materials! The service is great and shipping is very quick, no waiting too long to get going on a job. Thanks Stew-Mac!

Fretboards, and then some!!!

I have used Stew Mac's fretboards (along with tons of other supplies and Hardware) on the last 2 guitars that I built and I am extremely happy with the quality of EVERYTHING I have purchased from Stew Mac. From the binding, to the Golden Age pick ups, to the fingerboards. I can't say enough about them. The tech line also has been very helpful. If you are looking to build a guitar or fix up an old one laying around look no further. Stew Mac has supplied about 85% of the items on my last 2 guitars built from scratch. (see pic) Plus luthier tools to build them and I could not be happier. Thumbs up Stew Mac!!!
