ESP Multi Spanner

About This Item

Handy pocket-size wrench.
Quickly fixes loose jacks, pots, switches and tuners.

Store this versatile little steel wrench in your guitar case and you can quickly fix a loose output jack, control pot, pickup switch or tuning machine. Turn adjustable bridge thumbwheels more easily, too. One end of the Multi Spanner is toothed for loosening a nut; the other end tightens it. A mere .075" (1.90mm) thin, the tool can fit under a control knob and is specially angled for clearance over a guitar body or peghead.

Gets to and wrenches nuts that it would take two or three others to do. I like this one small tool for those jobs.

I am amazed at all the uses I am finding for this little flat bent piece of steel. I wonder how I did without it for so long.

Simple & Effective

The essence of good design is Simplicity, and this is a great example. I bet you find yourself reaching for it far more than you ever guessed! Careful though, needs a little deburring upon arrival.
Low torque only. Also a handy lever for removing Vol and Tone knobs (on less expensive pieces) if you can get under the knob and pry up.

Spanner Wrench

No more scratches tightening the tuner nuts, but I still use a cloth under the tool when removing volume, tone etc knobs . Old school I guess.

Simple as simple comes

This tool just works. Only hiccup I've had is using it to pull knobs. When the knob is close to the body, this tool doesn't like to slide under them. But that's not a big deal.

I'm on my second multi-spanner and use it every day for lifting control knobs without marring surfaces, tightening tuner machines and control nuts. No more slipping and scratching.

Purchased this in anticipation of rewiring an sticking P90's in my Gretsch 5120.
A very nice wrench, polished,as not to scratch the finish of your favorite fiddle.
Better getcha one

YOU NEED THIS TOOL!

I have just about every wrench you can imagine, but guitars require a tool like this because of tight tolerances on things like Floyd-Rose trem nuts, volumen knob nuts, tuner nuts, etc. This wrench is so simple and reaches them all without the need to disassemble everything to get access to the nuts. Grooved jaws grip nuts well.
