Invaluable addition to the guitar maintenance kit

This item provides almost every kind of hex key most luthiers and players will require for instrument upkeep. The sleeve holding the keys is sturdy and compact, making it easy to keep track of tools that often easily go missing. The day these keys arrived, I was able to administer required truss rod tweaks on all of my guitars without having to dig through tool kits and drawers for right tools.

Very close tolerances

I've only had the need to use them a half dozen times, but they eliminate the worry of scaring the "black chrome" fittings on my Ibanez guitar. Some allen wrenches are manufactured in sizes close enough to serve the purpose but the amount of "slop" in the tolerances slowly deforms the fasteners and destroys the finish. These have eliminated that problem for me. Well worth the money.

Have a "ball!"

I purchased both metric and AS of truss rod hex keys (Allen wrenches), with difficult access to the relevant internal adjusting bolt making it hard to determine exact size to use. The round - or ball - end on these wrenches allows one to approach the bolt from the slight angle (which is necessary unless you have the specific size in a specially designed/angled tool) required because of an interfering cross brace. Short story is that the ball end enabled me to determine best fit and make required (albeit small) adjustment. If you know what size you need, get the specific and best tool. If you don't, these did their job for me, were reasonably priced and quickly shipped. Recommend.

Allen wrenches that work very well for adjusting truss rods. The ball ends help for acoustics with the adjustment end in the sound hole so you can turn at an angle.
