Product Details

Allen ball end for easier access! These heavy-duty wrenches feature a special 1-1/2" long (3.81cm) Allen ball end, permanently set in a sturdy anti-twist steel shank.

Each wrench can also be used at an angle—great for getting into a recessed truss rod access cavity. 12-1/2" (31.75cm) overall length keeps your knuckles safely away from the peghead.

#6210 wrench is bent so it won't bump the tuners on a 6-in-line peghead.

Our veteran guitar technicians developed these high quality steel truss rod wrenches for the repair shop. The length, comfortable rubberized handles, durability, and variety of sizes let you perform truss rod adjustments more efficiently.

These tools are available in our money-saving Truss Rod Wrench Set.

Good Tool

I bought this tool, 4mm, for my Epiphone guitars and it works like a charm. So much better than the included truss rod wrench that came with the guitars.

Junk - End Twists off

By musicmont from USA

They are advertised as " heavy-duty wrenches", but are very weak. I have an 87 Strat with a tight truss rod so I purchased this tool, tried it and the tip "twisted" off with little effort. I took the tool to the grinder and smoothed out the break, tried again & now it works great without the "ball end". WATCH OUT the broken "ball end tip" is difficult to remove out of your truss rod nut after it breaks off.

Does what it's supposed to

Excellent tool. The little rounded part at the end allows for it to come in at an angle and still be seated properly in the screw.

Loved it!

This is a great wrench. The long handle combined with the ball head allows you to work comfortably even in Strat head stocks, which were always a challenge for me. With the strings on and using a regular wrench I always damaged the surrounding strings by struggling to release the wrench from the bolt due to string tension. Not the case with this wrench though, since the handle is far out.

Not helpful

By KC Sligo from Ireland

The wrong size arrived and is useless in any of my guitars. I emailed and got a very unhelpful reply after spending a lot of money with the company. It may or may not have been my fault though as i cant remember what size i ticked but it should be clearer as to what fits what. They advised me to send it back which will cost me more than its worth anyway.I'm disappointed with stew mac and will probably move my business elsewhere.

Handle is big and shaft is long helping to avoid tuners during adjustment. Will order additional items in different sizes.

Well, they're pretty darn good! Such a simple design you wonder why no body thought of them before...I'll eventually wind up with the whole set and order them as I need them but they're the perfect length!
