This thing really works

This thing works quite well. It's a bit difficult to snap it onto the head of the pin and to remove the pin from it once the pin is pulled, but it's only a very minor annoyance. I can't conceive of any way to improve it that wouldn't ruin its elegant simplicity. I like it very much.

Snapz Bridge Pin Puller is a GEM!

The Snapz Bridge Pin Puller is the best tool that I have found to remove even the most stubbornly stuck pins without damaging or marring the bridge. As a builder of acoustic guitars, one of my greatest challenges is in preventing damage to the instrument finish during final assembly and set up. The Snapz Bridge Pin Puller securely holds the pin, facilitates easy removal and leaves no scratches or dings on the bridge surface.

Simple, and it works

Not much to this little plastic tool, but it simplifies a task that can be a pain and makes it easier, faster and most importantly reduces the chance of dinging the bridge or breaking a pin.

Snapz Bridge Pin Puller

I bought an acoustic guitar and struggled to change strings because of a stubborn bridge pin. The notch in the tuner tool I had was totally inadequate. A miracle occurred and I succeeded in extracting the bridge pin without damage but it could have been much worse. I saw this tool in a StewMac ad and bought it along with the string cutter. The next time I changed strings the tool popped out all of the bridge pins effortlessly.

A "must have"? Well, maybe not... BUT, it certainly helps with tight pins, and it's inexpensive enough, so treat yourself. It's handy and protects the pins.

I love this pin puller!!!! It's easy to use and does the job perfectly, I recommend this to anyone who has an acoustic guitar. No more struggling or fear of damaging my Martin guitar pulling the pins out.

Great pin puller

This is a great item. I was expecting it to be a little more sturdier. It works very well to pull the pins out, however I am not sure how long it will last.
Despite this, I do not regret my purchase.

good design but a little stiff

Nice design idea which works well when you can get the thing over the head of your pin, but the plastic is very stiff and I find I have to help the thing open with my finger nail to avoid using way too much pressure to slip it over the head of the pin. Maybe over time it will loosen up (or snap in half) we will see. But it does not mark the guitar or pin and will remove very tight pins without damage.

The perfect little bridge pin puller gizmo.
I definitely prefer it to that little U shaped cutout in my string winder.
A most useful gadget.
