Rock-n-Roller Neck Rest

About This Item

Self-leveling to hold any guitar or bass!

These self-leveling contoured wooden neck cradles are "the neatest neck rests I've seen," says repairman Dan Erlewine. Heavy-duty cork-lined Rock-n-Rollers hold any guitar or bass neck in position for inspection or for routine minor repairs.

Rock-n-Rollers hold any guitar or bass neck in position for inspection or for minor repairs. They're useful additions to any repair bench or music store countertop. The shorter model has been redesigned to fit a wider variety of solidbody models, from Fenders to Les Pauls®.

Trade Secrets!

Trade Secrets!

Clamping a guitar neck really tight (without damage)

Working on a 1938 Gibson lap steel, Dan Erlewine needs to clamp the neck way more tightly than usual. He comes up with a special jig by modifying a Rock-n-Roller neck rest.

A useful neck holder

By

Works on electric and acoustic guitars. The edges and corners are sharp and not friendly to the hand but are easily sanded smooth. The unfinished white wood will soak up dirt and oils and become discolored, so I rubbed on a bit of brown furniture polish to seal and darken the block. Now it's ready to last as long as I will...

Sturdy and Safe !!!

The Rock-n-Roller Neck Rest is also great for DIY-at-Home guitar techs, such as myself. It's another fantastic "tool" from StewMac that is both sturdy and safe ... even for use on my dining room table. The neck rest holds the guitar in place, and it has helped me to safely perform a variety of guitar tech activities on several of my guitars. I'm glad I bought it.

Great neck rest

By

After trying other neck rests and various methods of securing the guitar neck I finally decided it was time to get something of decent quality and something tried and true. First time I used this I knew I had the real deal. Works perfectly! Should have had one of these years ago.

Self leveling, protects the finish with the cork wood insert, sturdy. Must need for my setup bench. Better than any other neck rests.

How did I live without this?

I've put off buying one of these for years thinking I had other stuff I could use that would work just as well. I finally decided to try one and love it. It is so simple, but so effective. Someone was really thinking when they designed the Rock-n-Roller.
