Self-leveling to hold any guitar or bass!
Sold individually or SAVE when you buy the set of both neck rests.

These self-leveling contoured wooden neck cradles are "the neatest neck rests I've seen," says repairman Dan Erlewine. Heavy-duty cork-lined Rock-n-Rollers hold any guitar or bass neck in position for inspection or for routine minor repairs.

Rock-n-Rollers hold any guitar or bass neck in position for inspection or for minor repairs. They're useful additions to any repair bench or music store countertop. The shorter model has been redesigned to fit a wider variety of solidbody models, from Fenders to Les Pauls®.

Clamping a guitar neck really tight (without damage)

Working on a 1938 Gibson lap steel, Dan Erlewine needs to clamp the neck way more tightly than usual. He comes up with a special jig by modifying a Rock-n-Roller neck rest.

Rock-n-Roller Neck Rest (solid body guitars)

This is a simple, yet incredibly functional tool. It does everything as advertised. It holds the guitar perfectly still while I'm working it. So far I've used it on a Hamer Archtop Custom to adjust the neck, and an SG/LP reissue for a few things. Well worth the money.

What can I say, long time player just getting finally into doing some home tech work. Got a bunch of great stuff from SM for that purpose, including this. Works great!

Great Tool

I purchased the smaller of the 2 neck rests. It is very sturdy and you can place up and down the length of the neck depending on where you need the support. I wish that I would have bought this years ago.

Simply Great!

Every guitar player and luthier needs one of these. Unbelievably stable on any surface; I use a mouse pad to rest the body of the on. Works any where and is so solid. Get one and enjoy string changes, intonations and repairs.

This is a great product! I was using a plastic tri pod thing but it always kinda scared me even just winding strings, This Neck rest is just the thing, No worries!!

I love these things!

I'm glad that I got both of them, because I've found that "one size" does not "fit all." Very handy items.

A good tool, done for he was made for, a little bit pricey, for two pieces of wood, but I recommended it

Neck support

Purchased the Rock-n-Roller to do some minor fret work, clean and change strings. Works wonderfully, just what I needed. Sure beats stacking clothes or towels under the neck for support.
