I find this to be a big help when changing strings or working on a guitar. Practical and works well.

Neoprene Guitar Bench Rest

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I needed something to steady the guitars and Bass guitars
that I work on, and this neoprene mat does the trick quite well.

I'm only servicing my own equipment, and didn't want to
spring for a leather Bench Rest just yet.

This one does quite nicely - handled my 1974 Fender
Precision Bass with ease.

Thanks,

Fred Di Censo

I have several of these lying around for whenever I want to work on something or restring. I even use my old worn models as soldering stations.

Outrageously overpriced junk

Basically, you pay $43 for an oversized mouse pad with a plastic neck rest which is separate from the big mouse pad. There's a hole in the "benchrest" that the neck rest fits through. I was under the impression that this was a solid workstation, similar to the old fender ones. I was highly disappointed with the product and I felt that it is astronomically overpriced. It comes rolled up in a plastic tube that takes some serious finagling to get out, since the material is made of mouse pad robber and it stuck firmly in the tube. If I do decide to keep it, it's because I don't feel like going through the hassle of shipping it back. I definitely do not recommend this.

This bench rest is perfect for working on a guitar wherever you are. I've used it in my workshop, dining-room and even a pub when a band-mate need a quick setup check.

Guitar bench rest

I think it's 6" a little bit shorty, because if you need to work on the nut or 1st fret, the body's bout is outside of the pad (rare) who is really NO slippery, BUT ,but, when using the neck rests, it makes the job perfectly. A good fit, highly recommended
