"With the light at its highest setting inside the guitar, I was able to locate a top crack from the outside. I clearly saw the full length of the crack."
—Erick Coleman, guitar repairman and StewMac tech advisor

good light

The light is very nice. Its very bright on the highest setting. Its nice to leave the light in the guitar while I'm figuring out a complicated brace and/or crack repair. Its great to not have to worry about roasting through batteries because the light is rechargeable. It balances well in a guitar because of its shape. The negative is the switch. It is minuscule. Since the light is so big, most times it is not retrievable through the sound hole after you have clamped up your repair. Then trying to shut it off becomes an issue. Well worth investing in though if you fix guitars. You never can have too many lights as far as I'm concerned.

As always, you folks come through again ! I think that Thomas Edison would have been impressed with this light more than I. It easily goes into the body of just about any Acoustic Guitar. The selection of light power is just simply outstanding. It even has a flashing mode ! This is one great light for just about anything you can imagine. Just amazing ! I have been purchasing quality items from you folks for years and will continue to do so. You folks are truly THE BEST !

Been looking for one like this

This is a solid well built tool, but I hate the switch, its tiny , hard to,access and one has to go through the whole 4 step system, to switch it off. I am going to strip it down and add a 4 position slide switch
