I think I may put a little finish on mine just to keep them smooth. Just used the 12" and it really helps keep the radius true.

I purchased the complete set. Then I picked up a few extra of the ones I use the most. Being able to have different grades of paper mounted makes getting the final level a breeze.

Great for the price

I bought a set of 8" wood radius blocks. I chose them because they are much cheaper than the aluminum ones. The wood blocks are well made and the radius' are accurate. They make fret leveling much faster and easier than using a flat sanding block. The only thing I can say about them that might be negative is the edges of the blocks splinter slightly. They are still usable, just a little splintered around the edges.

Right tool for the job.

I bought the whole set. There really isn't a better way to get level frets.

I've used these blocks for years and unless you have a machine to do your radii I suggest you use them too.

i bought the set a few months ago and haven't looked back...good value to keep you going until you can get the aluminum ones...great and precise but still not a long term subsitute for the aluminum beams

I have no idea why a shop would do without a complete set of these blocks! With 320 grit 3M self stick paper fret leveling is easy and quick.

i was kind of iffy about these blocks, but after using one all i can say is wow Does the work fast and accurate, no guess work. Do yourself a favor and buy a set of each 4 and 8 inch blocks. You will not regret it.
