These things work great- can be cleaned out easily with the compressed gas canisters used for computer keyboards.

Whip Tips Review

You may as well order 4-5 packs of these things. They are very flexible, and you can bend them around to get into tight places, and leave a microscopic drop of glue. Puts the toothpick industry out of business. Also you can trim the end off to any size opening you want. Another Brilliant idea from Stew Mac! A must have in any shop for sure! I add a couple packs to every "Pending Order" I have for Stew Mac. 5-Stars !!!

Fix cracks in clear invisibly

By Bartone Guitars from Gippsland, Australia
(Customer's Reviews) Thursday, June 26, 2014

These tips have a thousand uses, but recently I was presented with cracks in clear top coat, and told client it probably need to be rubbed back and refinished. Then the old light bulb lit up... why not use a whip tip to wick some #10 thin super glue into the cracks? Touching the whip tip to the start of a crack and carefully squeezing out a droplet, it instantly wicked into the cracks making them disappear. Then just sand excess glue and polish.

I know other people probably thought of this already, but it was a eureka moment for me, very exciting for the client too, when he heard he just saved a couple hundred bucks.

Fit on the bottle nicely and worked awesome especially with the no. 10 consistency. Had to trim it for the thicker 30. Worked great.

Got to use these with CA glue.

You could REALLY use these

Definitely one of those items that I didn't even know I needed until I bought and tried them. Most of the problems I ever had trying to directly target the application of super glue are gone, especially when using the water-thin variety of super glue.

Very handy

Great for accurate placement of CA glue. I use these a lot for gluing on bone nuts and filling rosewood dust around old inlays before I finish sand and install the new frets. Finish shown here on an old Japper that had gaping inlay wounds and a busted nut.

An excellent product that facilitates the use of super glue. With the use of a heat gun it can be adapted for other types of containers.
