Fixes finish chips fast! #20-X is our medium-viscosity clear instant adhesive in a special slow-curing brush-on version.

It's remarkably handy for touching up minor dings in guitar finishes—much faster than waiting for drop-filled lacquer to dry. It flows smoothly, the brush/cap gives you fine control for filling chips in the finish, and the bond is nearly as strong as our other super glues. 1-ounce bottle.

Important: The brush is designed only for this formulation, with special polyethylene bristles that resist hardening. Super Glue Accelerator should not be used.

To help prolong shelf life, store super glues in a cool dry place.

Warning! Bonds skin and eyes instantly. Use in a well ventilated area. Keep out of the reach of children.

I really love this glue. I use it nearly every day, sealing cracks, reinforcing thin wood areas, and umpteen other uses. Lasts a long time in the bottle, and the brush never hardens as long as you put it right back in the bottle.

This worked great

Had a ding in the lacquer finish of my LP, and I used this with a drop fill toothpick to apply it and the micro-mesh touch up stick to polish it down flat, and you can't tell there was ever a problem.

I learned how to match the stain and then cover with super glue to fix those little chips and knocks. Works great with t super fine wet sanding. Can't even see the repairs.

Cut my time tremendously

I use super glue as a finish on spalted pecan, maple and buckeye burl for ink pens. Regular super glue crystalizes when sprayed with activator while wet and still on the lathe. This stuff does not. With 5 to 6 coats this is a tremendous time saver. Final coats dry naturally to a very nice finish that I buff with micromesh 1500 up to 12000. Oh, the brush is great but even the smallest amount of activator will ruin it in a heartbeat so I make sure that the activator is gone before I put another coat on.

I have found that this is an ideal way to use StewMac super glues. It allows careful guidance of the glue and it dries exactly as StewMac says it will. I filled a couple of dings in the face of my 1962 Gibson SG and it worked perfect for me.

Just great!

Perfect! I've tried all 3 of the glues and they are all great. I have tried more super glues than I can count. None are as good. Good price.

My highest recommendation

Stew Mac Brush on is far superior to other brands that I have used. It repairs dings in lacquer finishes flawlessly. I use it for gluing the bindings and purfling on because of its superior holding power and set speed. It makes installing them seem effortless and gives you more control over the final outcome.

Great stuff...bought for drop fill repairs to a poly finish which I haven't done yet but have used it to file bone nut slots with bone dust and super glue to re-file to slot and it works great, I've tried this before with major brand super glue but it was too thick. I imagine this would work even better with the thinner super glue stewmac makes. Another great Stewmac product!
