Production Spray Gun

A sturdy siphon-feed gun with a 1-quart aluminum cup and medium-flow 1.8mm nozzle.

It's ideal for instrument builders and repair shops; the larger capacity cup means less refilling between coats when finishing guitars and larger instruments.

The air valve and horizontal/vertical spraying pattern are fully adjustable. This gun requires an air hose with standard 1/4" NPT threads, regulator, and a compressor producing at least 3 cfm at 90 psi. Works with waterbased or nitrocellulose lacquers. We've had excellent results spraying lacquer at 30 psi, and waterbase finish at 40 psi.

Always wear a respirator mask when spraying!

Good enough, but keeping clean is requisite

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I bought one a couple years ago, and, at first I cleaned it after every spraying. Then I got lazy, and eventually it clogged up. After much effort in trying to resolve the internal gunk, I remembered from olden days of automotive repairs, carburetor cleaner...bought a can, left the primary parts in it over night, and then a brush and air, it came clean easily.
As one other reviewer noted, you can find a similar (if not the same) gun at cheapo tool store. But SM's gun is well made, no cut corners.

Spay Gun

Sorry, but this is just a cheap china made gun that's way over priced. Go down to your local "cheap" tool store and get one just as good for much less.

Both production and touch up spray guns

These tools together, if maintained and used properly. You can finish furniture, cars, boats, instruments, and I bought a touch up gun for my wife's spray tanning business. Anybody can use it with a little practice. Just don't leave it dirty.
