Details

Eliminates the white clouding that appears when moisture is trapped in a new finish. Also useful for finish touch-up and repair.

When you spray a finish in humid conditions, a "blushed" (whitened) surface can occur when moisture becomes trapped in the finish. As soon as the blush appears, use Aerosol Blush Eraser to reflow the surface and free the trapped moisture. It preserves the clarity of the finish, and helps "melt-in" overspray after spot finish repairs, too. For use with nitrocellulose lacquer finishes only.

Great Finishing Supplies!

It works like a charm! And easy to apply! Just be careful to use sparingly because it will want to run.

It really works

By Wilbur from Penn Run, Pennsylvania

After applying first coat of sanding sealer to my mandolin the blush appeared, top and back both. What to do? I remembered seeing the Jet Spray in the Stew-Mac catalogue and hurried to order it before 4 pm so it would ship the same day. Guess what? It was delivered the next morning!
It completely removed the blush after being there for three days. I am glad to have the can on hand now so I can use it when needed.

Made my Silvertone young again!

This product worked wonders on the 1955 finish of my Silvertone Blue Kentucky. The paint was literally falling off the body. After a coat of the blush eraser, the paint is now firmly bonded to the wood once again. So glad I found this product.

Better information

I would not contradict any of the positive reviews. But it would have saved me $17 if the copy with the product had specified this product worked only with nitro finishes. Maybe it is obvious to pros, but newbies could use better information.

Great stuff

I used this product on a few guitars when the humidity was high enough to make it blush. It works wonderful. You need blush eraser on hand just in case you need it. A must have in any shop.

Life saver in high humidity

By guitarwoodrat from Cumberland Gap, Tn
(Customer's Reviews) Sunday, October 10, 2010

I sprayed this cocobola guitar in high humidity and without this blush eraser I would have had a sanding job and a respray. It turned white almost immediately after spraying. A light spaying of blush eraser cleared it all up.

Blush Eraser That Works

By Bill Porter from Wadesboro, NC
(Customer's Reviews) Wednesday, September 22, 2010

This product performed exactly as specified in removing blush from a custom banjo neck I am making for myself.

A rain storm quickly came up without warning while spraying a coat of nitrocellulose lacquer and this product saved the day.

Highly recommend this product!
