Pro quality! Adjustable digitally controlled heat lets you get clean, professional solder connections for a variety of jobs.

No cold solder joints, no balky solder flow, no burned connections.

Adjustable temperature control: The SL-30 soldering station's heat sensor is located near the soldering tip for a fast, accurate and consistent LCD Celsius readout, from 160-480 degrees (320-900 degrees F). For extended service life, an electronically switched transformer isolates the tip from transient AC voltage spikes.

The SL-30 Soldering Station includes:

  • Comfort-grip soldering iron with 3-1/2 foot heat-resistant cord and 1/32" fine-point tip for precision soldering
  • Easy-reach adjustable soldering iron holder, with vented steel safety cover for heat dissipation
  • Tip-wiping sponge

We recommend: Order a chisel tip for soldering connections to the back of a control pot or grounding a wire to a tremolo claw. It's also handy for steaming out wood dents with a damp cloth.

#0501 is a 110-volt AC electrical appliance, 60Hz. It has a U.S. standard Type A plug with two flat parallel prongs, ungrounded.

#0601 is a 220-volt AC electrical appliance, 50Hz. It has an international plug Type C (Europlug) with two round prongs, ungrounded.

This soldering iron is awesome and very useful during any applications. It's helped in several of ways that other soldering irons haven't. Thank you StewMac!

For the cost their should be a Celsius to Fahrenheit switch. All ten dollar meat thermometers have one and mine is five years old.

Way more useful than those throwaway irons I'd been getting from box stores. Love the temp regulator; very useful!

Just throw away your old soldering iron and replace it with this beauty! It's not cheap, but it's worth of every single cent. Probably the most professional soldering station I have ever used, the temperature setting is wonderful. I already used it for a set of custom cables, with amazing results!

Solid Soldering station

This soldering system is very well made and it takes the guesswork out of your soldering temperatures. If the tip is too hot, you can just dial it down until you're pleased with the speed of melting. Until this system, I've always been aggravated with my soldering results. Now I find that it wasn't me, after all! And it looks like it will last forever, the way it's built!

A Serious Upgrade From a Cheap Iron or Gun

By Dogwood Guitars from Kansas City, MO
(Customer's Reviews) Tuesday, June 04, 2013

I've been doing more and more soldering work in the last year so I decided to upgrade to this soldering station. I should have bought one sooner! Once I started using this, I realized that I am very good at soldering electrical connections; it was my cheap irons and guns that were the problem. This station heats up to the set temp in seconds, and my connections are now clean, shiny, and professional. I do agree that for the price, a set of tips would be appropriate. You will need the chisel tip for pot connections. But this station works so well I give it a full 5 stars anyway.

The SL-30 Soldering Station is the best soldering tool I have ever used. The temperature adjustment is great if I'm removing solder with a copper wick or doing small, low temp work. I put away my Weller iron and gun and replaced them BOTH with this tool.
