Beautiful Hardware and very happy with the functionality

I bought the gold and pearloid tuning machines to replace a set when one of the tuning machines snapped while I was restringing my guitar. The tuners I replaced were not Grover's and were not as high of quality. The Grover Tuners fit to specifications and were easy to install. The Grover tuners are way more precise and has added much value (aesthetically and functionality) to my guitar.

Unfortunately in the set of Grover's I purchased one of the washers was deformed. I emailed Grover support explaining the issue and received 2 replacement washers a couple days later at no cost to myself. Now I'm just waiting for my next restring (no sense wasting guitar string!) to replace the rest of the tuners. [attached picture shows guitar head with new tuners and old tuners]

In the past, I purchased the chrome ones to replace Robo tuners on an SG. Absolutely love them. They have a very precise feel to them and they add an elegance to the guitar. Moving on, recently I purchased a custom black Les Paul. The machines that were stocked on this guitar work just fine. However, I wondered how good the gold version of these machine heads would look on this particular guitar. So, I pulled the trigger. Again, the precision and elegance that they add to this guitar is amazing. Highly recommend these.

Pricey, but very nice tuners!

I recently bought a Fender Kramer acoustic guitar. Love the vintage look and sound, but the tuners they put on this guitar look OK, not. Great, but ok. The problem is they are very stiff and difficult to turn, very hard to tune. Cheap!!!!
I wanted the vintage look of these milk bottles and the bonus is how well they work too! I love them. Now I have a great looking Fender with a big vintage style head and the best tuners in the industry. Thanks Grover, you saved my guitar.... See....
