The choice of renowned guitarmakers for their finest instruments.
Lightweight, exotic snakewood is ideal for a non-traditional, modern look.

These sets have straight single-hole 1/4"-diameter brass string shafts for 3-left/3-right slotted pegheads. Screws included.

With Waverly tuners, your guitar plays in tune and stays in tune. Waverly's patented design combines stainless steel with bronze to create smooth, non-slip tuning. The perfect replacement tuners for valued instruments, Waverly machines are handmade to fit precisely without drilling on older Martin and Gibson guitars. Manufacturers such as C.F. Martin, Gibson, Collings, Santa Cruz, Huss & Dalton, Sams, and Bourgeois choose Waverlys for their finest instruments.

Whether you're fitting a solid-peghead or slotted-peghead guitar, there are Waverly models to fit.

Direct replacement design: No additional mounting holes to drill when replacing similar vintage machines on older Martin & Gibson guitars.

More efficient operation & more precise tuning: 16:1 gear ratio. Patented worm tension bushing eliminates looseness.

Long life with less wear: Stainless steel worm gears have twin bushings. String post gears are machined from bronze alloy; more durable than brass.

Authentic knobs and string posts: Knobs are genuine snakewood. String posts are plated brass.

Excellent tuners!

I dropped my guitar and broke one stock tuner on it. I decided to replace them with these Waverly tuners. Takamine uses 6mm Gotoh tuning machines, so I had to replace stock 6mm bushings with 1/4" ones. These tuners are great - very well made, smooth and looks good too.

Waverly guitar tuners with snakewood knobs

These tuners are great already. The only thing I would ad is the snakewood buttons are not only beautiful and give the guitar a very stately look, but for me they are easier to tune the guitar with. The wood button just feels better all around. Thanks Stew-Mac for having these available! John

Waverly Slot Head Tuners

I have been looking for a set of tuners to replace the ones that came with my Taylor GC 12 fret, since I found the ones that came with the guitar to be sloppy especially when you have to de-tune. These tuners fit perfectly with no modification at all. They are very smooth and they look great as well.

Top-level function plus stunning looks

Sure, I wish these cost less, but quality doesn't come cheap. I'm about to purchase set #3.

The first two sets operate as smoothly as one could want, and they installed beautifully.

They also never fail to get me grinning when I take the guitars out of their cases ... nor do they ever fail to elicit envious comments from others! Worth purchasing for those "keeper" guitars, hands down.

wawerly tuners for slotted pegheads

I chose the snakewood knobs tuners for an oval hole Maccaferri replica and they add a special touch to the beauty of the guitar.
The tuning is smooth, precise and accurate and the guitar play always in tune. Five stars.

Beautiful tuners but pricey

I purchased 5 sets to install them on three 10 string guitars from Puerto Rico (Puerto Rican Cuatro). The tuners are definitely of high craftmanship and their operation is very smooth. I guess my only issue is the price, they are way to expensive in comparison with similar horizontal tuners.
