Grover Quick Release Strap Locks

By rbarr110 from Seattle, WA
(Customer's Reviews) Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Overall the strap lock works as advertised and expected. I did have an issue with the set I received - the chrome coating was pitted and looked like rust. I am assuming it was just a finish flaw on my set, other than that, they are good.

Another fine product

This strap lock works great and it is simple to install and to use. A must have for guitarists interested in concentrating on their performance and not worrying about their guitar strap falling off the guitar. I use these locks on all of my electrics.

Can't live without them

The best practical guitar device out there.Should be standard issue on all guitars.I've got over 20 guitars and it makes swapping between them safe and secure. No more having your strap slip off the button.Just check every now and then that all screw fittings don't loosen with usage.

I used these on my custom made 4 string bass, and they work great and the quick release is so easy to use.

I have had to purchase other brands and regretted doing so. Simple and function. MY strap is easy on and off once installed.

Have them on every guitar I own

Never dropped a guitar yet, they're easy on and easy off. and when you already have the strap connector you can just buy more locking buttons for next to nothing.

Grover Strap Locks

By Steve Pavlidis from Covington, Ga.
(Customer's Reviews) Saturday, November 10, 2012

I bought a set in gold and they not only gook good, they work great. The only problem, one which may have only been a problem on my particular guitar, is that the screws that hold the pins onto the guitar are a bit smaller diameter than the screws in the original strap buttons. A little epoxy and the screws fit fine and work well.

Why the BLACK SCREW?

By Pro-Steel Pickguards from Surfers Paradise, Australia
(Customer's Reviews) Saturday, October 06, 2012

Why would would Grover and Stewmac conspire to sell a product that has a mis-matched BLACK color screw on a CHROME finished straplock button??? Without the strap on it looks crap. Get a CHROME screw in there please!! They are also NOT a generic size (too tall) and needed to be filed down on the flat top surface of the bevelled end. But I fixed those 2 probs in about 10 mins. If it's broke, un-break it!

I find the Grovers to be far superior to the Dunlop in appearance as well as easy release. I highly recomend them.
