Diago Twistlock Secure Strap Buttons

About This Item

One piece—no moving parts to rattle, wear out, or lose
The Diago Twistlock is a simple and effective alternative to traditional ball and plunger strap lock systems. A straightforward design that works with any guitar strap.

Secured with a simple twist
Attach the strap to your guitar and give it a twist to lock it on. Your guitar won't fall off by accident, and the strap only comes off when you want it to.

  • Easy to use—one handed twist action removes or installs the strap
  • Replaces your standard strap button with no modification to your guitar

Twistlock's low profile fits in your hardshell case, and it's still comfortable on guitars like the Gibson® SG or 335 where the strap button is mounted on the heel of the neck.

Dimensions:
15/16" x 3/8" (23.81mm x 9.53mm)

Each set includes 2 CNC-machined steel Twistlock strap buttons, 2 felt washers, and 4 stainless steel screws in 2 lengths: 1" (25.40mm) and 1-1/2" (38.10mm).

Set of 2.

Getting them tight...!

By

Verified Buyer

The idea is great and they do a great job. However the challenge is getting them tight to stay in the proper location (the notch facing the floor). The first problem is holding the button so it doesn't turn while tightening. The second problem is getting the buttons to stay in the proper location. And the cure was simple. The old buttons used a rubber washer rather than a felt one. After fighting with two sets I used the old rubber washers. I'm willing to bet that I am not the only one to have this problem. If they fix this one I would give it 5 stars.

I bought these for a MelodyMaker I am refinishing and refurbishing. I also bought a brand new leather strap for the guitar. So far, I have been unable to get the strap unto these strap buttons. Yes I watched the video, but so far NO JOY.

I like the price AND the way these really hold the strap. Had a bad fall on one of my past taylor guitars and have been fearful till now.

These work great! They're bigger around they a standard strap button but no bigger in circumference than other strap-lock systems. Simple and effective! They work great!

I haven't put them on anything yet but, the quality looks great. I'm sure they will work just fine on my Ibanez AM93 (gold), my Fender Telecaster (chrome) and the strap lock done up in black, I haven't decided which guitar they will go on yet.

Put these on my Telecaster. Was using plastic strap locks on standard Tele buttons. Worked fine, but the Diagos look so much better.
