Pickguard Screws for Fender

About This Item

Phillips ovalhead screws to fit countersunk pickguards and cover plates. These are 1/2" length, the standard for Fender (vs. the 3/8" standard used by Gibson®).

A better match on vintage guitars: the Relic Nickel plating has an aged look, perfect for repairing old guitars, when shiny hardware looks out of place.

Sold individually.

The finishing touch on an all-black Stratocaster!

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I have two Fender Strats - A 1987 Custom Shop Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster in olympic white, and a 1996 American Strat in black. They are both lefties strung right-handed, which is how I learned to play. The black strat was a little dull looking, so I bought all black pickguard, tremelo cover, pickup covers, control knobs, and tips for the pickup selector switch and the whammy bar. I finished it off with black screws, strap buttons and pads. It looks great, still plays just as sweet, and has a sort-of "Ritchie Gilmore" vibe to it - all for about fifty bucks! Thanks, StewMac!

Good for what it's worth

They are screws. They perform every function required to be called screws. They come in the three primary "guitar hardware finishes". But they are still pretty pricey for screws in my opinion.

Good screws

Not much I can say about screws. They are useful, all having threads and a Phillips head slot in the head.

Bit right into the holes I drilled for them. Had to remove them a few times and never showed any scuffing. Very nice.

SCREW IT

What you need here is a true, clean, accurate high grade steel screw. That's what you get. In my experience these are as good or better than anything that leaves Corona. Don't hesitate when restoring that old '68 with screws missing or heads stripped. With a little 'relicing' you'll have a screw that can't be told from the original.
