Neck Attachment Screw

About This Item

1-3/4" (44.45mm) long screws for bolt-on neck electric guitars.

Drill a 1/8" (3.00mm) diameter hole in the neck and a 3/16" (5mm) clearance hole in the body.

These screws can also be used for attaching a tremolo spring mounting claw.

Good screws, but the gold ones...

Good neck attachment screws. It is advised to first drill 1/8" holes (or use a bit which is the same diameter as the core of the threaded part of the screw) to start. If you try to drive the screw directly to the un-drilled wood, it would be impossible in hard woods, or damage the head of the screw. I give it 3 stars because the gold screws are pale, they look like cheap chinese parts. I buy nickel and electroplate them 24k gold, for the look.
