INCORRECT SCREWS

the screws are of good quality but there can NOT be used on Epiphone guitars. Are short, thin and do not have the rounded head.

not quite as expected

The screws appear to be good quality but are a bit thinner than original screws found in Epi and Ibanez guitars, too short for bridge ring in an Epi. Also the heads are a bit smaller too. Could be good for new builds but not as replacement screws, feels like money wasted.

Repurposed

I bought a single black humbucker ring screw because it was the closet in dimensions to the mismatched nickel (and stripped) screw securing a black Tusq string tee. A quarter well spent. Seriously.

Another great instrument screw

Luthier screws are a breed all their own. You can't find them in hardware stores. You can get close but not with the right finish on them or at just the right length. Like all the stewmac screws, these work great, look great and cost too much.

Great quality !!

Size Matters

Too short for bridge pup. Should be at least 3/4". #2 size is a wee bit too small for Epi. A #4 should also be offered.

I needed the long screws from a 50's LP ... these are perfect for modern rings

Great product for the price...

Pretty much like any other imported item... You get what you pay for, but it's nice having an outlet for the little things that can make a project move along better...

Need more Screws

By B Grant from Blackheath Australia

I recently purchased some of the black humbucker mounting ring screws and they were a little disappointing, they were too short for the bridge pickup and the heads are flat and shallow, so they disappeared down the hole a little, ie the head needs to be a bit bigger, and maybe even slightly rounded as opposed to dead flat, also the powdercoating could be satin vs matt. I Ended up buying some in various available lengths from a local luthier supplier, sorry StewMac, most of your stuff is good, these need reviewing by you.

Strip too easily

Awesome price but I have the hardest time trying not to strip the heads when installing
