Looks good but fit is bit tight

By soundknight from Darwin, NT, Australia
(Customer's Reviews) Wednesday, June 11, 2014

They look good and seem strong/ well built but they didnt fit very well and I ended up breaking a pot trying to install one of them. And yes before you say, I did check that it was the right style for my type of pot.

1194-G Bell (a.k.a. "Top Hat") knobs for coarse-knurled pot shafts on Gibson guitars, e.g. Les Pauls

Nice quality, but be aware that the white numbers are much harder to see than the originals from Gibson. They're much less distinct, so much so that I've ordered another set from another online company. I can't use these!

Classic Knobs

By MDH from Texas
(Customer's Reviews) Wednesday, August 07, 2013

I have been dressing up my guitars lately, and I shopped around about 8 million knobs available out there. But I always came back to these classics, and I'm quite happy with the appearance, and will be buying more for my next project soon. It's also a revelation to me that there are two different gauges of knurling on pots, so be sure and get the ones that match your pots!

Don't waste your bucks in original replacements. This knobs are really goods. Durable quality, nice colour and work perfect. They fit good whatever the pots you have.

Good but can be better

By Arturo Chang from Caracas, Venezuela
(Customer's Reviews) Sunday, May 05, 2013

I used these knobs to "rescue" a Yamaha SG-45 (1972) that suffered a crappy restoration years ago. Looks great but the bottom is not perfectly rounded, there is a flat "side" apparently as the result of removing the plastic excess from the mold.

Replaced the import pots on an LP style guitar with CTS brand. These new knobs went on perfect and look fantastic. Recommend.

These look great but be warned, they don't come off easily which can be both a blessing and a curse.

Get the right knob

StewMac is one resource that clarifies the issue of fine vs coarse-knurled shafts and this along with their customer support is helpful for the "newbie"

Amber knobs-unreadableà

By Buffalo Bill from New Buffalo, MI
(Customer's Reviews) Monday, December 10, 2012

Sorry I bought the Amber bell knobs, because the numbers are unreadable, so I need to replace them.
The better knobs have their numbers painted white.
