Electrosocket Jack Mount

About This Item

Be done with loose Tele® output jacks forever!

Simply drill the two mounting screw holes, thread the jack into the Electrosocket, and screw it in place to hold the jack firmly in place for the next millennium. Handy for speaker cabinets, too!

Electrosocket Jack Mount for Tele® guitars accepts a standard 1/4" (3/8 x 32 thread) Switchcraft Output Jack (not included) and fits a standard 7/8"-diameter hole, without damage to the guitar.

Plating options: anodized satin (aluminum) or shiny plated brass.

Mounting screws included.

These jack mounts work well, look great, and importantly, easy to install. No drill needed like I would have expected. Highly recommend if you need these.

nice upgrade

I swapped the output jack (stock Fender was awful) so I upgraded the electrosocket jack mount at the same time. Easy to install and better that stock part. Simple to work with and higher quality.

A bit difficult to install, but worth it

I bought this for a Jazzcaster build in place of a standard Telecaster jack cup. Since I haven't worked on a Telecaster before, I can't comment on the ease of use of the Electrosocket compared to a traditional jack cup.

The jack plate was well made and looks good. Drilling the holes for it was difficult due to the angle of the screws was difficult, but the final result was satisfactory. Not all right-angle cables can be used with this jack.

chrome electrosocket

I got this to match the shiny chrome machine heads and 2-point vibrato on the guitar I built for myself (bcustom 44.) It replaced a plain aluminum one that looks more vintage. Going to use that one on another build. The chrome one seems to have better quality screws, as the first one's screws' slots buggered right before I got it tightened up. Note: Some people say you have to have a flat spot for it. If you start the first 1/8" of the jack hole with a 1" bit and the rest the standard 7/8", it will fit flush with the body without wobbling.

A Tele must!

Makes life so much easier having not to deal with a retainer clip on a Telecaster. Will only use these now for any tele-style build.

Nice part, great customer service

I ordered a chrome Electrosocket back in September of 2015 for a project guitar. It sat in my parts box since then, and I only recently tried to use it. I discovered that the threads must be metric, as a standard Switchcraft jack did not fit. One e-mail to Stew Mac, and I received a new one two days later, that was tested to fit a Switchcraft jack. Great customer service, folks!

Just as I Pictured!

Although the advertised pictured occurred as a wavy paint job, it was a trick of lighting. These are nicely powder coated smooth satin black. Intended for a pedal board build with all black hardware this should be a perfect complement.

It works fine!

It's really nice solution against traditional tele jack-socket construction. No more pain about loose of socket (and pain to push it back)!

One note - take in mind about jack socket thread and diameter of socket mounting hole (7/8").
