Ivoroid Endpin

About This Item

Hand-turned to match our bridge pins! Complete your guitar with a finely crafted endpin to match our bridge pins.

Each endpin is machined (not molded) and handsomely polished.

We recommend our Bridge Pin Hole Reamer for matching the 5-degree taper of these endpins.

Jewelry for your guitarA vintage material is reborn
Our ivoroid bridge pins, endpins and strap buttons are made of Galalith, a dense and durable casein-based material that polishes beautifully. Popular in the early 20th century, Galalith is found today in collectible vintage jewelry. It cannot be molded; each pin is precisely machined and has none of the unsightly mold lines common to plastic pins.

Our ivoroid pins match the knobs on Waverly guitar tuning machines.

Really nice pin.

(Customer's Reviews)

I recently installed this end pin on my Recording King Troubadour to match the strap button I put on at the same time. It was a bit small so I put some Teflon tape around the shaft of the pin. Works great, holds great, looks great.

Beautiful material

I am restoring several old Silvertone and Harmony guitars. I bought one of these to replace a damaged endpin on one of the guitars. The look is awesome, perfect for an older guitar. Now I'm going to replace the endpins on the rest.

Beautiful end pin to finish off a special guitar.

Beautiful ivoroid plastic, and it's machined and polished, not molded (no seams or parting lines). Much nicer than your average plastic end pin. The taper is a whisker smaller than a standard Martin end pin, so if you're replacing a pin, it might be a bit loose. a layer or two of teflon or cellophane tape will make up the difference if necessary.
