Excellent idea but...

(Customer's Reviews)

This is a really cool little piece. There are a couple issues though. The strap I use (El Dorado) has very thick leather, and because of the diameter of the lock, makes it extremely hard to attach the strap. Also the groove on the lock is too narrow for any quality (2mm thick) leather strap, and will not nestle or seat in the groove of the lock. I'd like to see the grove widened and the inner diameter reduced.

I wish I would have thought of this!!

This is one of those brilliantly simple ideas the just work!! I've had to catch my guitars more than once while playing and having the leather strap fall off the endpin jack. I put one on my bang-around Taylor and liked it so much I ordered one for my '54 Gibson J-50 (my baby!).

Great Idea, just not quit designed right

(Customer's Reviews)

Well I purchase two of these and I had to modify the opening of the strap secure button so that it would clear the jack retaining nut corners. The input jack retaining nut would lodge itself into the StewMac brass secure strap button, and upon removal it would unscrew the input jack retaining nut. Both my guitars are factory Gibson acoustics. I didnt mind paying the high price you were asking, but when I had to dremel it out so that it would clear the input jack nut, I must say I'm very disappointed.
