This strong tailpiece fastener is specified by Bob Benedetto for use with his ebony jazz guitar tailpiece.

Designed for attachment to the guitar's endpin, it's made of stranded steel with black nylon coating, and fitted with threaded brass ends and knurled brass nuts for smoother length adjustment. Available in two lengths.

You will look long and hard to find a better fastener for the tailpiece of an archtop guitar. I use them exclusively.

Very nicely made, excellent attention to details. I do agree with the other reviewer who suggested getting the smaller one. I got the larger one, and despite this being a big-bodied archtop, with a 3 3/4" deep body i all but ran out of threads getting this tailpiece hanger to the shortest possible length. So i'd think on all but a big dreadnaught, the smaller fastener would work.

Buy the short one. This is a good part, just needs to be a little bit shorter for my guitars, so I use two small pieces of wood as spacers.
