Perfect Pegs

The ebony pegs are perfect in profile and the shaft is left large enough so any taper can be cut. Great value and saves a lot of work trying to make them from a block of wood!

Good items. I make gourd banjos and like the look of this type of tuning peg on them. To me it looks right. Always good service from StewMac.

Only thing to say is these are very good quality solid ebony pegs. The taper is accurate and they require no additional work prior to installing. Great product and great price.

i shudder to think how much time and cost of ebony would be involved if i had to make these pegs. i've gotten a few and they are always solid black and have no tear outs or chips. how does stew-mac make money on these? crazy good!

After fitting and restringing, the amount of sustain and resonance was absolutely astounding. I didn't believe that just changing the tuning pegs could make such a big difference. Thank you StewMac
