Short Bridge for Tele

About This Item

Vintage style Tele® bridge, in a lopped-off size. Lets you put any pickup you like in the bridge position while keeping the traditional Tele three-saddle design.

"I've been cutting off Tele bridges for years to achieve this. Ever since I saw this mod on a '59 Telecaster that Seymour Duncan outfitted with humbuckers for Jeff Beck. It's cool to see this available as a factory piece!"
—Erick Coleman, guitar repairman and StewMac tech advisor

This versatile hardtail bridge lets you load the strings through the body or at the back of the bridge. The stamped steel baseplate fits the vintage Fender 4-screw footprint. (Won't fit Fender American Standard mounting screw spacing.)

String spread: 2-1/8" (54mm)
Baseplate dimensions: 1-1/2" x 3" (37mm x 76mm)

  • Stamped steel baseplate
  • Ungrooved brass saddles
  • Adjust saddle height (Allen wrench included)
  • Mounting screws included
