Nashville Tune-o-matic Saddles

About This Item

Replacement saddles for the Nashville Tune-o-matic.

Chrome, nickel, or gold-plated zinc. Set of 6.

Tip: Slotting Tune-o-matic style saddles
Nut slotting files work great for metal saddles. Choose your file size as you would when slotting a nut: use the same gauge as the string, or a few thousandths larger. After filing to the desired depth, we suggest polishing the slot with Mitchell's Abrasive Cord to remove file marks and burrs.

Perfect Fit

I bought these to replace some seriously over notched saddles on an early 2000’s Gibson SG’s Nashville TOM. Not only was the saddle radius all over the place, the spacing was way off too. This all made the guitar uncomfortable to play. I got six of these saddles, six screws and six of those pesky retainer clips. 45 minutes later she was all back to the way she was supposed to be!

Brought my old LP bridge back from the dead.

The saddles on my 76 Les Paul custom Nashville bridge needed replaced. The grooves had worn down and gotten the action all out of whack. I bought a set of these and they were a direct drop in replacement, no hassle at all. I put in new grooves "gibson style" with a small hammer and then used A triangle shaped file (also bought from Stew Mac) to finish the new string grooves. These worked beautifully and the old Les Paul feels great again.

These sound a bit different it seems than stock saddles, but are equally nice if not preferred on my 2 flying V's.

I needed to restore a damaged Nashville bridge and I thought it would be really easy. Well, it is, but it requires a few things and patience being one of them. A jeweler's loupe or really terrific eyesight as close up work is required not to mention tweezers and assorted small tools. Having said that; after an hour of so of determination with the other things mentioned, success was achieved and the bridge is just as good as new!
