Great Alternative

First time I have used this Jack mount and worked really well. One piece of advice , before you screw in the cup, test the connection with your cord into the jack to ensure a good fit and sound connection.

Electro socket Tele jack replacement

If you have a Tele with a standard jack, this is an ideal low cost upgrade. No soldering involved. Be careful pulling out the piece of metal that the jack goes through. Use needle nose pliers to pull it out. Screw the new jack plate onto the jack and install the two small screws in each side of the new jack plate. Very easy and only takes a few minutes.

I do not like the bulky square plates which are traditional for end of body jack installs. I decided to try these and liked the fit and finish they gave my telecaster style build. Will be getting more.
