Compensated Bridge Saddles for Telecaster

By

This is a great way to make one's beloved Telecaster achieve near accurate intonation while maintaining the vintage look. These particular saddles are priced right in comparison with the competition.

Perfect Intonation, Improved Tone

By

I bought these saddles so I could keep the original tele setup but have proper intonation. When I received the saddles, I was confused as to why some of the saddles were angled the wrong way. I decided to read the directions which clearly stated you might have to flip the saddles to get the proper orientation. After that I put a new set of strings on, tuned up and set the intonation. I immediately noticed when one string's intonation was sharp or flat, the string sharing that saddle was sharp or flat to the same degree.

After getting it all adjusted, this guitar has better intonation than some of my guitars with individual saddles. Also, I had no issues getting my string height as low as I wanted without bottoming out the saddles or needing to shave some off. My string height is roughly 4/64" at the 17th fret for reference.

Also, something I wasn't expecting is that these brass saddles gave my tone more brilliance and clarity than the stock brass saddles. It could be because they have a little more material to them than the stock saddles.
