Electrosocket Jack Mount

Be done with loose Tele® output jacks forever!

Simply drill the two mounting screw holes, thread the jack into the Electrosocket, and screw it in place to hold the jack firmly in place for the next millennium. Handy for speaker cabinets, too!

Electrosocket Jack Mount for Tele® guitars accepts a standard 1/4" (3/8 x 32 thread) Switchcraft Output Jack (not included) and fits a standard 7/8"-diameter hole, without damage to the guitar.

Plating options: anodized satin (aluminum) or shiny plated brass.

Mounting screws included.

simply the solution

This works perfectly for all American made Tele applications. If you have a Mexican or Korean make, then remember to buy an American Switchcraft jack [better anyway] to go with it. Also remember the body must have a flat spot for the shoulders to fit against.
Heavy plated Brass.

May not work with some jack sockets!

Ordered one of these to replace the oval jack plate on a G&L ASAT Tele. Fits the bore hole perfectly, but the internal treading was to wide for the stock Korean/Japanese jack socket. Make sure you have a Switchcraft or Switchcraft-style jack socket, otherwise you'll be looking at more parts and soldering work.

Ok, but.............

it's not the panacea it's made out to be. I know a lot of guys love this product, but if your guitar doesn't have a flat spot (such as on a new build) the E-socket is not contoured to match the curve in the guitar. It's an odd size of diameter so you need an uncommon drill bit if yours is a scratch build. And last, a jack plate offers much more protection from the pointed end of your guitar cord. It's a solid innovation, but not a panacea.
