Improved Strat tuning stability, sustain and reliability!

The baseplate holes are elongated so the screws won't bind, for smooth, accurate pitch return. For tuning stability, the string mounting holes are staggered in the steel block for more consistent string angle over the adjustable locking bent-steel saddles.

2-1/8" string spread.

Springs, spring claw, arm with white plastic knob (#3534-B black tremolo has black plastic knob), mounting screws, saddle adjustment screw and Allen wrenches.

Top notch vintage style tremolo

By Joseph from Potomac, MD

This was a drop in replacement for the bridge in my Fender American Vintage '59. No issues at all installing, and no modification necessary.

The bridge is rock solid. Tuning is greatly improved. Sustain is also slightly improved. Once intonation is set and locked, this is one solid piece.

Vibrato arm is thicker than the stock Fender, and threadless, so it has no play at all, and can be adjusted w/ an allen wrench.

The original Fender Strat bridge was a good idea, but had it's faults. Wilkinson has added the necessary improvements to make it great.

It's way better than those over hyped up trem units! Easy to install & intonate. Handsome looking piece of trem. Nice tones, improve tuning stability offered. Pair it with locking tuners and we are locked in tight and ready for the road...

Make sure the spacing fits your guitar body before you purchase this tremolo. This is the most solid vintage style tremolo I have ever come across and have installed it on over a dozen custom quality strats with sperzels. Yes, intonating can be cumbersome, however once dialed in, you can't get a better end to end combo IMO.

A nice choice but not perfect

This is a great tremolo unit but it could be better. Unfortunately the screw holes did not line up on an Asian import Strat like I had thought so I had to plug existing holes and re-drill new ones. My only other issue is the method to intonate could have been executed better.

not quite there

First of all, this is a great trem, well built and with some very clever and useful designs and a big improvement over my original trem. BUT, it didn't quite fit my japanese 90's strat, so I had to use only four of the long screws to fasten it to the body, the outer two holes are partially covered by the bridge itself, something that can't be fixed without major surgery on either part. For me, four screws are more than ok, but some people may not see it my way.
