Deal with good folks

I ordered a tone ring and a new bridge for my 5 string but sadly found the tone ring would not replace the broken ring in my banjo. Called stewmac and they were very nice and told me how to return the wrong size ring and even offered other sources that i might find a ring. Sent in the back and they promptly refunded my mone. I kept the bridge and will tell you that for the money it plays just as good as some of the more costly bridges i have used. I fixed my oldtone ring and with a few new parts am back to playing again. Rest assured if you deal with these folks they will treat you right!! Thanks stewmac for the help

Bridge for my old 1920's Slingerland 5 string

Good bridge...very slight backward slant which is correct for nice true transfer of vibration...sounds good and full bodied. Made the banjo sound noticeably better. That was the only change on the banjo and it improved the tone.

I recently purchased a custom handmade 1800s tack head banjo with 3 bridges...all were too high! I purchased these short height bridges from Stew-Mac and found them to be of excellent quality and perfect for my new period banjo!
