my old banjo was missing this piece, this is an excellent replacement, I wish they could come up with an old vintage ' Elite ' copy, can't have everything.....

Was looking for something for nylon string

I was looking for a tailpiece to replace the one I was using so I could use Nylon strings on my banjos. It works great for this purpose. Additionally the tone is better than the tailpieces I replaced.I would recommend this tailpiece and would buy it again!

it's beautiful!

This tailpiece replaced the flawed original on my old no-name banjo.
The original had flanges that came over the rim and nicked into the head.
This one keeps itself outside of and over the rim. It fit on the original mounting
shoe. Replacement took about two minutes. The sound is brighter and it
looks better too.

No Knot Tail Piece

This worked for my old banjo during a repair project since I'd lost the original tail piece. But it is very short and doesn't come up on the head very far. None the less and decent solution

Worked well for a tenor restoration. Very reasonably priced and was of good quality. No complaints.

This is a great tailpiece

I recently replaced one of the cheapo reproduction no-knot tailpieces with one of these, and it' so much better. All the edges are smooth with no burrs from slotting the balls. In fact, few people actually use the no-knot feature of those reproduction ones anyway, even for nylon strings. These ball ends are much nicer. It comes with a nice mounting bolt as well, which I wish was just a little longer.
