Love this

More comfortable and more stylish than your average armrest. I used this in conjunction with the non adjustable tailpiece. The banjo head looks clean and free of clutter.

Does the job

I bought two armrests to further lighten my Stelling Golden Cross and my Deering GDL banjos. The service rep showed me how to install them since they didn't fit the regular way. Great job! Since they didn't come in chrome, I had to have them chrome plated by a local company after I adjusted them to fit the curvature of both banjos. Since the dimensions of the majority of 5-string banjos is the same, they could have more closely matched them. I had to further adjust the curvature after chrome plating since I didn't make them perfect the first time. Once installed, however, they are just what the doctor ordered! After installing them, I found them $10 cheaper (each) on another website. Go figure...

Perfect fit, high quality finish and quick delivery. Does not distract from the beauty of the instrument.

I got this for my tenor banjo. I was confused on how it fastened on. A quick inquiry to the tech guys and they said to look at the pic in the catalog where it shows it on a banjo. I got in on quick, and it is very nice on the forearm now..

Also Fits...  Radio King Dirty Thirty Tenor

I put one on a Vega once so I thought I would try this on the Radio King Dirty Thirty Tenor.

It does fit, but I had to round out (with a small round file) the outside edges of both slots about 1/8" on each side. Perfect.

Vega Rambler Fit

I picked one up a while ago and it fit very nicely on a 50's Vega Rambler I was reconditioning. I'll try it again soon when another banjo comes onto the bench.

Nice armrest but didn't exactly fit new Goodtime Banjo

I ordered this for my Deering Goodtime, but the hooks on the banjo were not quite long enough to attach it. This is one of the recent Goodtimes banjos, so maybe the hooks are different? Anyway, attached it with a couple of small nylon twist ties and it is fine otherwise.

An excellent arm rest - recommended!

I had no problem attaching the Vega-Style Armrest to my 11" open-back banjo rim. By attaching it in the "high" position, I am able to keep both my arm and my sleeve off the head of the banjo. The resulting improvement in tone and volume is both audible and satisfying. This armrest works the same as the Old-Time wire armrest, one of which I also bought and successfully installed on another banjo. Choose which armrest you like the looks of better. They both produce the same desirable result, and either is a worthwhile addition to any banjo.
