I have used these guards on several guitars I have worked on for friends and for myself. They are easy to trim if you need to and look very nice once applied.

Martin Style Pick guard for a 70's D-28

By

This pick guard was exactly what i needed to repair a late 70's Martin D-28 Acoustic guitar that had a black pick guard that was curling up and peeling off from the bare wood. We remove the old one and sealed the bare wood with some super glue and then sanded that down a little. Sanded around the edges where the old pick guard was too.We then positioned the new pick guard in place and if fit like a charm. Clamped it down over night with a flat piece of wood and then scuffed the new guard a little to make it look good and done....I spoke with Stew Mac before the purchase and they said it would fit and it did...
thx,

Sorry, did not like.

I bought the clear pick guard. We carefully tried installation and using a hair dryer to help rid the air bubbles, realized the edges had many tiny spots that would not stick. We eased if off and tossed it in the trash. Maybe you'll have better luck...

I just love the clear pic guard. it's great to have protection from scratcvhes and not cover the beauty of the wood.

Great looking Tortoise

By

I really like these pickguards, especially the tortoise. Great natural look and quality without the "pepperoni" color you get on most inexpensive pickguards. I use these a lot and they always make the guitar look nice.
